Windows 7 Performance Issues
The next major problem that can lead to Windows 7 slow performance is fragmentation. Again, this happen to the disk over time. When old files are deleted from the hard disk, they leave little holes of blank disk. Rather than ignore these areas, the operating system instead reuses them. When a new file is saved, it is broken into pieces, and these pieces are put into the gaps. The problem is, it’s a lot slower to access these files that are in pieces than it is to access the files which are in complete sections.
Finally, there is the problem of a corrupted registry. The Windows registry is a special database which holds a lot of different information necessary to keep the computer running. Over time, this can become corrupted as errors are added. They can be caused by malware, by ba programming, and even by failing to shut the computer down properly. They all add up to big problems which can slow down your computer and even make it impossible for your computer to work properly – sometimes making it necessary to reinstall the operating system.
